  Though I could have used more of it, the parts that really dramatically utilize the dome to create immersive 3 dimensional imagery are very very cool. Giving you a sense of the non-directionality of space. The parts about dark energy and the scale beyond the observable universe made me tear up.

  I've always had a fascination with the idea of what goes on in the everyday lives of ordinary people who live in a Hell Realm, and I think this movie really scratches that itch for me, even if it's probably not exactly what it's going for.

  People stereotype David Lynch as "weird", which carries the implication that he does "random" things (worms fall from the ceiling!) that you must either find some obscure meaning in or dismiss as artsy fartsy…

  Cowboy Bebop: The Movie 2001

  Sometimes a movie being a long episode of a TV show is bad, but sometimes it's exactly what you want. After the melancholic ending of the TV show, it feels really nice to drop back into the "classic era" in an oversized episode that roughly hits on a lot of the show's themes. Also just a great reminder of how drenched in style this show is. It's nothing incredible on its own, but it's just super solid action filmmaking and a lot of fun.
