Underrated Pacino film.
A beautiful movie about exposing realistic police corruption. I loved how they made it apparent the stress and fear Serpico was feeling throughout 5 years of being in the middle of corruption without partaking in it. Everyone was just treating his situation as if he didn’t have a legit reason to be fearful for his life around corrupt cops when one of their own doesn’t succumb to that gang mentality. The plot is basically a copy and paste of the first Die Hard film, but with the stakes even higher considering that this terrorist attack is occurring at an airport. Due to the stakes being higher that means the stunts John McClane is doing becomes much more ridiculous. With the stunts and plot of the first movie you could let it slide bc it was the first movie of its kind during the time period, but copying it this much…
