Very impressed with how refreshing this folkloric presentation of vampires was compared to the cleaned up romanticized version of vampires that dominate popular media today. Count Orlok was portrayed perfectly as this shut up, rotting, selfish, depraved monster that emits nothing but darkness and evil throughout the movie. I’m also obsessed with how beautifully produced the movie was. The ending was a little unfulfilling despite a good final act. Count Orlok really ended up killing himself cause he was tryna bust a nut😭
