Waltz with Bashir 2008
absolute visual masterpiece with intricate narrative… although the comments made about the impartiality of the film are somewhat valid since it does sympathise with the IDF, people are failing to understand that it’s not a documentary but rather the telling of the story through the eyes of the main character who is based on the director Ari Folman… who was in the IDF and was present during the massacres of Shatila and Shabra. Of course it’s biased, that’s the beauty. This ain’t not History Channel documentary folks
