  Oh, boy. Not very good. And I like religious horror. Everything except the actual possession and exorcism is fairly okay. Otherwise, it’s all a pretty blah possession premise. But I kinda liked Russell Crowe’s performance. Seemed appropriate.

  The Prestige 2006

  This is a favorite. Probably seen it at least ten times. Just recently watched it with my 14 year old. She had never seen it. Had to explain all the twists and turns. And that made it that much more enjoyable. She loves Bowie, so, naturally. I remember that The Illusionist came out at the same time. Not bad. But I like that The Prestige is operating on the idea that some magic is real. The Illusionist does not. Dynamite.

  Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023

  Better than I thought it would be. But I still look at this one and Crystal Skull as being independent of the original three. Not part of the cannon, but still enjoyable. Kinda wish they would’ve put more of a capper on the ending. Ain’t no way Ford is coming back for another.

  The Fog 1980

  Had never seen it before today. Very John Carpenter. Reminds me more than a little of The Prince of Darkness. And for that matter, Halloween 3. Really liked that you didn’t see any of the revenants in much detail. All better than I would’ve thought.
