The Monkey 2025
A ton of fun! It captured the feel of a Stephen King novel excellently. For the type of horror film this is going for, it is incredibly successful. The comedy worked and was a fun departure from the more serious tones of the other Oz Perkins films.

Fun movie with great performances. Really enjoyed the watch and was surprised by the amount of comedy. The plot felt pretty surface-level overall, I kept wanting to go deeper into the themes it presented. I also wish the marketing didn’t give away any of the plot, it took away from what could have been some great reveals. I was expecting something a little darker but the tone was more light hearted. This is a solid thriller/comedy.

Abigail 2024
So much fun! An homage to classic trapped-in-a-mansion horror with the addition of great action and gore. Radio Silence are masters of balancing the comedy and horror tone. Excellent cast, standouts were Abigail herself Alisha Weir along with Dan Stevens (villain of the year), Melissa Barrera and Kathryn Newton.
