    Fritz Lang’s “M” is a masterful study of paranoia and the suspense, with brilliant camerawork and cinematography for the day. Dialogue carries from one scene to the other, and often well timed pans transitions the scene keeping the pacing up and making the plot feel like it flows well. By this time (1931) it seems some film makers have mastered the art of properly serious acting allowed by sound, and “M” proves it.
