Lot better the second time round! Was able to pick up on a lot more in terms of character and thematic work. Paced really well. James Stewart’s the goat. Still not a huge fan of the final scene.

Wrong Husband 2025
Out of the 3 screenings I got to see at BIFF this was the one I was most excited for and yeah no it’s the best by a long shot. Beautiful cinematography, fantastic production design overall, a really fascinating story, quite slowly paced but it never feels like time is wasted. Special effects were a bit naff at times but tbf the budget for this was probably minuscule so it’s not something I can complain about too much.
Had a good time! Really loved it! Really wanna watch more indigenous films now actually
