Hereditary 2018
A horror masterpiece. The film is genuinely scary, just not filled jump-scares, which may have polarized audiences upon its initial release. The film takes great pleasure in ringing out the tension in almost every scene, and basically forces the audience to just sit there and watch. Casting is on point, with Toni Collette and Alex Wolfe’s performances being seriously great and believable. Hard recommend.
