  Vowed not to watch a Claire Denis film for a long time after having seen 'Trouble Every Day' nearly three years ago. I am glad I feel very differently towards this. It's gorgeous on a technical level and one of the classiest posters to exist.

  And god giveth, god taketh away.

  This kind of filmmaking is no joke and totally justifies why DiCaprio said some of these sequences were the hardest he's ever had to do. I also loved the score, the most poignant themes find expression through Ryuichi Sakamoto's sincere commitment.
