considering how much i HATED HATED HATED the book,i was hesitant to watch this. but, i am pleasantly surprised to report that this movie is much better. the book oversexualized their relationship, and i thought the film adaptation did a much better job at making them seem like a couple of guys in love, not just two guys hooking up.

Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood 2003
Honestly, if this was a stand-alone film with a different name, it would be really good. The main character was awesome, and I thought the storyline was compelling. If I hadn’t seen “Leprechaun: In the Hood”, which was entirely a whimsical comedy, I think I would’ve enjoyed this movie, which is more dramatic and calls for empathy towards the characters, a lot more.
