  “Fahget about da baybayyy”

  There is a reason why this film resonates so much for so many people. It works. 🔮

  I love its fever-dreamy symbology and bizarre delivery. I love its cheesyness, its jim henson-ness. A favorite of mine for as long as i can remember. 

  This is a story about a creative mind reckoning with her own rumination, responsibility, and romantic delusions. Her selfishness and short sightedness. Its about trust and gratitude. Girlhood and friendship.

  Unfunny, ugly, uncompelling, explains too much of what i dont care about and not enough of what i was curious about.

  Wish it didnt explain so much. In general.

  Takes all the fun out of the premise’s speculative aspect. Doesn't bother to draw any interesting conclusions. I dont think.
