The Tragedy of Man 2011
Very sick, kind of overwhelming. “The Tragedy of Man” really shouldn’t work as well as it does, a story taking place over several thousand years, with changing animation styles, and protagonists, toppled with very heavy themes and imagery and exhausting dialogue in an animated feature, but it does. Maybe the main reason I love this film is because it perfectly combined some of the things I love the most like philosophy, theology, history, classical music and of course animation.
