I guess I didn’t really know what this movie was about it going into it other than it being about some vampire vaguely referenced in a SpongeBob episode, because I sure as hell was not expecting what I just watched. Nonetheless, the cinematography and acting was phenomenal. I’m not going to lie, I did struggle with the old time-y language, and I think this movie was stretched a little longer than I think it needed to be. Overall though, it was captivating, the story was intriguing, and the scare factor I think was at the perfect level for what they were trying to achieve.
