I want to start off by discussing what this movie did well. There are two things that this movie does better than almost any other movie I’ve seen before, and those things are suspense and setting.
The setting in this movie is terrific. Even though it’s just a house that looks like it’s from the 90s/early 2000s, I love it. It feels like I’ve been here before, which made everything in the movie so unsettling. And the suspense was insane.…
Big fan of Baki, and enjoyed a lot of Kengan, but this crossover just wasn’t it. The fights were terrible compared to both of the shows, the interactions between paralleling characters was stale, and while I know they had to set the characters to similar power levels, they did it in the worst possible way. Was hoping for a tasty treat, got stale white bread.
