Do not waste your time watching this movie.
The plot and characters are all over the place, and even the SFX is laughably bad. There are better movies with a similar concept that you can watch instead.
I don't really post reviews here, but this is more like a warning. Do yourself a favor and skip this.
I have a mixed opinion on this.
It's a decent movie overall and I could see some thought was put into small details (e.g., the titles of the books in a shelf behind the character during one of the scenes).
On the other hand, if you are used to thrillers or horror, every single plot twist will be incredibly obvious. The movie then sort of falls flat because it cannot fool you even for a second. So I'd say it's a better movie for people who are new to those genres and/or want a movie that is not violent or upsetting.
"Sometimes the true adventure is the friends we made along the way." That's it, that's the movie.
A lot of the runtime features the characters becoming friends and bonding. Good for them, I guess. It's cute. The special effects are not the best and some deaths look funny instead of tragic. The story concept is interesting, though I feel like it would be better suited to a video game - except then I'd have to find five people to play it with and that's just unrealistic.
