    One of the things I dont like about the French New Wave is that most of the films lacks a proposal for the storyline.

    Most of them are more concerned with differently form of filmmaking than the  story itself.

    As I said before, to me, a good film is a good story well told. The form comes in the background to complements the story and not the other way around, where the story complements the form.
