Don't know if this has been said but I feel like the reason paul kills is because he knows that he's in a movie and that all these aren't real and that they have no real lives, he's just having fun with it and seeing what will happen. It's just something to think about and something I thought about.

The Hateful Eight 2015
I watched the extended version and all my thoughts are is that it's great. It never bored me in such the long time span it had and it really shows how Terrintino loves to play with time. Now I don't know what was added in the extended version or not but it's a definite watch.
