“Hitchcock for idiots” is the best way I can describe this film and I fully mean it as a compliment. A straight forward thriller that is as silly as it is tense, and knowingly so. The Blind Side 2009
Yeah so the family in this film profited off Michael Oher’s name and life and never adopted him. They just made him sign a conservatorship where he signed all of business rights away to the family that didn’t even adopt him. He never made a penny off this film but the family that lied to him and used him made millions. Fuck this movie and everything it stands for.

Poor Things 2023
First film I saw in 2024!
The pacing of this was so much better the second time. I’m just impressed and floored with every aspect of this film. Easily my favorite film from last year!
