The actor playing the genie was pretty funny, and he's apparently a part of Team Starkid. This is yet another reminder that I am a bad millennial because I still haven't watched anything in their catalog outside a few clips on YouTube. I actually laughed several times at some absurd moments, so this wasn't a bad time. It definitely felt underbaked, so I can see why this was just a one-off TV movie.

My husband and I saw this within a few weeks of its release. We left the theatre still sobbing, tears covering our faces. Afterwards, we sat in the car for 20 minutes, saying almost nothing and trying to compose ourselves. This film is perfect, and it is one of the most moving experiences I've had in my life. Down to You 2000
This movie has so much that is objectively odd, and it's not exactly a good film. However, it is one of my favorites of all time. The cheese, the memorable soundtrack and all the oh-so-2000 clothing make this hard for me not to love. I own this on DVD, and I don't really bother to buy a lot of movies on DVD. It's a movie version of comfort food/junk food.
