  I thought the battle scenes were amazing and Joaquin Phoenix was really funny as Napoleon. But at some points the relationship between Josephine and Napoleon was too funny and awkward to ever make get emotionally invested in their story

  I really enjoyed this movie and thought that the 3:30 hours was appropriate to become emotionally attached to the struggle of the Osage tribe. Robert De Niro played his role perfectly and Leo was great as always. The ending left a little to be desired which is why it doesn’t get 5 stars. The ending felt a little rushed which seems impossible given the run time but they could’ve done a little better. Would watch again

  A 3 hour movie that didn’t feel 3 hours. I’m not sure if that’s because you have to stay laser focus to understand what is happening, or because the movie doesn’t have many moments of drawn out dialogue that slows the movie. Every second meant something and I’m sure there are thousands of Easter eggs in too dumb to understand. I will probably have to watch it again to fully understand the ending but all in all it was a great watch.
