Every performance was mesmerizing as expected. I knew Cynthia would deliver and I was very excited to see Michelle Yeoh in this. Jeff Goldblum? Not so much. His casting was all too predictable. And I like that Africana Grande didn’t change her race for this movie. All jokes aside, I do love her as Glinda.
I think the social commentary on the personal being political was a good start. As good as it can be for an American blockbuster movie…
Watching the white lady leaving the Black lady trapped in quarantine with the infected guy—- just to end up returning to the quarantine site really stressed me out ngl. Also, I would’ve been able to differentiate Walter from David!!!! Why would you ask a clarifying question about Walter’s true identity AFTER allowing him to lock you inside a pod???!?? Make it make sense!!!!
All in all, still a great movie
This is peak cinema. Did I know what was going on the first six times I watched it? No. Did I continue to keep watching? Absolutely. I never tire of it. This movie manages to be larger than life and does it so well that it doesn't have to abide by any rules.

This movie was very entertaining in the fight scenes & humor. With that said, it definitely could’ve made more sense. It really didn’t make sense to center this around a new lackluster character, Cole Young. Instead of trying to squeeze every last dollar out of this franchise, I wish we got to see the tournament in this movie in lieu of the sequel we’re about to get. I guess you could say this was not a flawless victory. No? That wasn’t funny? Ok, I’ll show myself out.
