I fear that I went into this expecting something along the lines of Parasite regarding depth, so it was a bit hard for me to get over the loose plot ends and deus ex machinas. some of the bits did not land like the random pigeon guy and toni collette's whole thing with sauces? however, if i hadn't had that expectation i think i would've enjoyed it a lot more. it's funny, the cast is amazing, the sound design is great, and the little creatures are actually really loveable. would not watch again but worth the watch in a theater!
such a beautiful emotional roller-coaster, i love the gentle parenting in the beginning it's hilarious. to all the reviews saying anora's character wasn't fleshed out enough bc we don't know her interests or whatever, that's literally the point. we don't know anything about her hobbies or her past, which means vanya knows even less about her. this gives even more meaning to how he treats her. also strippers don't have time or money for hobbies, and of course everyone wants a better life for themselves, so don't say she had nothing to lose by divorcing him. can't wait to rewatch this.

Definitely made me notice all the details which was pulled off pretty…
Simple in plot and character development, but not shallow. There's no part of this movie that's useless or random. Every scene of banter, conversation, or interaction builds on the human relationships that B-Rabbit shares with his friends and family. The character development is satisfying and of course the music is so damn good. Eminem is such a talented rapper but he surprised me with his acting as well. Also I liked how Alex isn't idolized but not completely villainized at…
