  This film is literally, every frame a painting. It is well written, and has fantastic battle sequences that could not be made today. The downside is, for modern viewers with short attention spans, this may be a difficult watch.

  Just seen this at the Dublin film festival. It's such an effortlessly sad and funny film.
  The loneliness of grief and lost love are explored so well in this film. At the same time, the comedy is interwoven conversationally, so you end up naturally laughing at the things they say, especially Charles. Just a great movie, I loved it.
