A fun twist on the Final Destination idea, but with a Paranormal Activity-style demon rather than the ethereal notion of Death itself. Scarier than I remembered. It’s like someone decided to make a movie that was only suspense and nothing else. I thought I had forgotten most of this movie, but it turns out only about 3 things happen. Just long, building tension.

Pretty good adaptation, it’s a clever way to bring several short stories into one. The ending is strange. It’s surprising they don’t bring back those 2 kids, and more surprising that they imply they will later? Is it a set up for a sequel, or just a quasi-happy ending? The creature design is the star, very cool practical effects.
