Boiling Point 2021
This film is impressive.
In the Q&A after the screening the cinematographer pointed out that they were supposed to have eight attempts at making this film and in the end only had four (it was shot in March 2020 lol). This must have intensified what was an already stressful process and it really comes out in the film.
The idea to shoot this in one take is genius. It highlights and recreates the intensity of the restaurant business.
Great film with realistic acting. I'm not surprised that Stephen Graham said this was the most exciting set he'd worked on - theatre meets film meets reality.
