  Yi Yi is a perfect movie that you very rarely stumble upon. It is very well calculated and crafted and feels closer to life itself. It is thematically and technically profound, and has its roots planted firmly on reality.
  The movie is in full 'Zen' mode. It is meditative and most of the time filled with silence. In these broad moments of silence Yi Yi searches for answers about life's meaning.
