  there's a bit where Sonic tucks a blanket over a sleeping Tails and then curls up next to him with no blanket on but Tails's tails pop out from the blanket and cover up Sonic and it's the most heartwarming few seconds of a film i've seen in years

  the first time i watched this, it took me a while to really get into it - i eventually loved it, but i began by thinking its pace was too brisk, and the main characters being so outright hateful certainly didn't help it
