Let’s be honest—it’s not the musical of the decade, but it was extremely fun to watch. The costumes and special effects were nice, and it made me feel like a kid again for a little while!
The way the book’s details were respected (like that freaking Oompa Loompa hahaha) was so cool. It was pretty interesting to see how this dreamy, ambitious young guy became the crazy chocolate maker we know in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—plus, it made me want to eat chocolate the whole time.
