He’s not the hero Gotham deserves, but the one it needs right now.
Christian Bale as Batman in The Dark Knight might be one of my favourite things ever. Every scene with Heath Ledger is gripping and tense—you never know what he’ll do next, and then chaos follows. This movie was absolutely amazing, and I loved every second of it.
Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.
