It’s a tennis film, not much else I can say.
I decided to watch it as I believed there was a complicated love story as the feature, but no it was kinda disappointing and poorly executed

The Gentlemen 2019
This film is the perfect combination of action and comedy
It is set up in a gangster world with a selection of different connected characters. The choice to Center on telling a story was an interesting choice allowing for small “current” scenes to split up the rest of the film
Each of the characters has their own comedy features which work so well in this type of film

Le Bonheur 1965
I would highly recommend this movie for the emotions it makes you feel throughout, it romanticises cheating on a whole other level and adds a huge amount of gaslighting throughout
The film is good at making you feel the anger for the wife throughout her husbands affair and the way he tries to justify it with “opening himself up to more love”
It also uses a lot of interesting cuts (which is common in its time/genre) which I feel adds to the overall feel of the story
If you’re looking for a French new wave movie, I would recommend this one
