WHY DIDN’T THEY CONTINUE THIS???
A lot of people look very condescendingly at the Shoujo Genre, often regarding it as “stupid romance fluff” and tend to prefer more male-dominated genres. While I think there’s nothing wrong with just being “romance fluff”, Yona of the Dawn is far from this. While it would be an exaggeration to call this griddy or dark in any way, the show isn’t afraid of showing blood on Yona’s hands or the devastating effects of war. …
