The Witches Mountain 1973
Though initially banned upon release in Spain, this little-seen oddity turned up on U.S. TV in the late '70s/early '80s where my wife saw it (probably way too young) and one sequence in particular left a big impression on her. We tracked down an extremely low quality copy some years ago but finally got to see a crisp, clean version courtesy of its recent, first-time ever release on blu ray.

The Outsiders 1983
This movie and the S.E. Hinton novel it's based on had a big impact on me as a teenager. I hadn't seen it in decades and wanted to check out the "Complete Novel" director's cut version. Despite the intense melodrama, it still manages to express something universal about growing up on the fringes and figuring out your place in a complicated world.
And if you don't tear up at least a little at, "Stay gold, Ponyboy," I just don't think we can be friends, man!

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
It would be hard to overstate my love for this movie. I was blown away the first time I saw it and frequently defended it to others through the '90s when it was widely considered a major commercial and artistic failure. So I really enjoyed seeing it get critically reappraised throughout the 2000s, with it finally coming to be seen as one of David Lynch's best and an essential part of the Twin Peaks universe.
