Surrealistic and all too relevant political science fiction with a television station that creates reality at the center. It was made in the early 80s against the background of rising discontent in Poland, but feels like it's a satire on 2025. Loosely grounded in Orson Welles' take on The War of the Worlds. Disjointed stylistically, which doesn't always feel under control, but sucks you in ways that reminded me a bit of Jodorowsky.

The Bloodettes 2005
Closest comparable is Vera Chytlova's Daisies, another film about two young women running amuck amidst a corrupt political nightmare. Some clear nods to Godard, many to Afrofuturist feminism. The rhythms, visually and musically, are deeply grounded in the African diaspora. In the top tier of stylistically adventurous African cinema
