Princess Mononoke 1997
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Just rewatched Princess Mononoke for the third or fourth time. What's so powerful about this film isn't just man's exploitation of natural resources and destruction of the earth, allegorized as a war between humans and gods. Hayao Miyazaki tackles that theme in some form or another in most of his films (which is to say, brilliantly).
