This movie sucked. So 0.5 stars.
But Bruce is goated.
And Allison Williams is a sleeper pick for celebrity crush.
So 2-stars.
This movie is solid. I also love Mark Wahlberg. I will always love Mark Wahlberg.
Also, if a dad beats a dude up after he sexually harasses his daughter. That should not just be allowed, it borderline should be encouraged.
This movie is gonna get hate. And I don’t care. It rocked. Story line was awesome, Lex Luthor was awesome.
This was my first time seeing a Superman movie in the theatre and it didn’t disappoint one bit. He feels so much bigger both in character and in story than any character not named Captain America or Iron Man over in the MCU. I’m excited to see where they take this rebooted version Superman. I’m here for it, and excited.
Only real criticism… Hawkgirl is an L character.
Pretty good movie. Pretty mid dialogue and honestly there wasn’t the suspense of previous Jurassic Park/World movies. However I’ll always have a soft spot for these as they fueled my Dino infatuation through my childhood.
Scarlett Johansson is a welcome addition to the franchise, as well as the actor who played the doctor. I liked their onscreen chemistry a lot. Big win.
OG T-rex will always be more epic than any of these random mutation dinos. Like did Spielberg have to pay Lucasarts to use the Rancor?
It had like 5 funny parts and Will Ferrells butt.
The rest was atrocious. So was Will Ferrells butt.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A pretty good movie, nothing spectacular but kept me engaged the whole time. The cinema experience was awesome with the fast moving camera shots and equally fast moving commentary. Hans Zimmer killed the soundtrack too. Mixing music from all different genres into an awesome soundtrack- Kudos.
I really liked Brad Pitts character, he was very dynamic and was interesting throughout the movie. The little love affair he had with the technical director was fun and injected a little bit of…
This movie is pretty good. Just like aggressively boring.
John is a homie. Harry is mid not gonna lie. Lucy needs to make her mind up
This movie is just about everything I could have wanted from a live-action remake. 95% the same as the original and I loved it for that. Disney has failed time and time again to make to good live-action remakes and Dreamworks showed why with this one.
Disney tried to make the slightly silly children’s movies into these super serious political pieces about feminism or DEI or whatever other thing was popular at the time of release. Little Mermaid, Snow White,…
A heartwarming story no doubt but not a good movie. The dialogue was super mediocre and the videography was okay at best.
Also, whatever actor played Billy Hamilton should never get another role ever. That dude is buns. Never want to see him again.
I am a huge fan of McDonough though and hope for him he captures some big time roles. I think he always does well and it’s cool to see him not being a side character in a poor TV show (this is about Arrow not Yellowstone).
A fun movie… not a great movie though. There were a lot of things I liked, but really it just kinda followed in the footsteps of ‘part 1’ of this duo of movies. I’d watch it again for sure but won’t be sprinting back to the theatres to watch it.
The shots inside the submarine and the sequence with the plane were visually epic and I really appreciated the way these were pulled off. The dialogue left a bit to be desired. Solid movie I suppose, just nothing spectacular - fell short of my high hopes.
I’ve watched this movie probably 20 times. But watched it again for the first time in a while last night. Was struck by how great this movie is at all ages. I think that speaks to the sheer greatness of HTTYD.
I seriously hope that this live action remake somehow manages to capture the charm and magic that the original created for so many people. This movie is enshrined next to movies like Cars or the OG Lion King as canon event type watches. I can’t wait to watch this with my kid for the first time one day.
Everything you could possibly want from a MCU movie. AND FLORENCE PUGH. I’m in.
This is the best thing Marvel has put out since Endgame and it isn’t close. The score was awesome, characters interesting. Plot was wholesome and the arcs of all the characters had depth and really added to the overall feel of the movie.
I have always wished that Black Widows character would be more central and it’s really cool to see that wish coming true through Yelena. This gives me hope for this new era of Marvel. Maybe we’re back?
