  Compact, emotional, and intense. Most I’ve enjoyed one of his movies since Signs. I mentally predicted the ending correctly after 5 minutes (The Village only took me 2), but Groff and Bautista (who gives a career best performance) deliver a soulful surprises. That combined with expert cinematic blocking by Shyamalan elevate the whole affair.

  Sidenote: I’m not wishing this on him, but Groff has an aloof compassion in his eyes that would make him a great Superman.
