This left me disappointed in the end. I don't know what I was expecting, but the pacing felt off, especially in the middle third of the movie. The satire definitely landed, but at times I wanted less and and at times it seemed like the film could have leaned more into its satirical messaging. Unforgiven 1992
Special screening in honor of Gene Hackman. I haven't seen this movie since it came out 30+ years ago. I enjoyed the movie then, but really appreciated it the second time through. How the film did not win Best Cinematography is amazing, but then I realized A River Runs Through It won. One of the finest examples of a Western.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010
This was a film that I thought I would not like at all, but I ended up liking it a little. I can see what the director was trying to accomplish amalgamating film, comic books, and video games into its own form.
It was fun to see a cast of actors before they were stars. The plot left me wanting more of the "scene stealers" and less of the main character whose story overstayed its welcome.
