Sense and Sensibility 1995
It is so so sweet and heartbreaking and satisfying and sweet. The character growth, the drama, Hugh Grant’s casual wit and stuffy neck collar. All so good. Also Emma Thompson as Elinor and how deeply misunderstood she is by her family. Watching this movie again made me appreciate her friendship with Colonel Brandon much much more. Also, I relate to Margaret. Youngest of three sisters, curly hair, sword fighting, and piracy. We are the real kindred spirits.
