amazing performance from both jacob elordi and cailee spaeny. love all the details, from the casting, the clothes to the music. it really encapsulated the real essence of priscilla and elvis relationship and finally from her point of view. with beautiful pastel shots and the portrayal of a teenage girl in love, the movie makes sure to express its love story with a reminder of the abusive and perverse nature of it. especially with coppola’s decision to portray both the elvis as the dream man everyone wanted, with charisma and attractiveness, to the groomer, grotesque and perverse person he really was.
