Rewatched, and hold to my 2.5 rating. The plot, David & Walter bs, and pseudo religious themes are straight up cringe.Oh wow the alien lives even after we thought it was dead? The cyborg dude has hidden directives? Wanted more of the Jurassic Park Lost World ass set. Open world with Annihilation approach would be interesting. The ship designs, heavy machinery worship, and Giegers engineer world are worth your time. Mature xenomorph is so satisfying. They do the head smash through glass like 4 times though. I get it, they’re feral. Still worth it, better than Prometheus.
