The title may be Turandot (and Udovich is brilliant - on a level just below the Borkhs and Nilssons, and I mean that as the highest of compliments) but the star is Calaf, and there is no greater star than Franco Corelli. I can't say that the story is particularly interesting or the music close to Puccini's best, but with singing as good as this who cares? There has never been, before or after him, a tenor with a presence as commanding or a voice as golden as Corelli. 'No, no principessa altera. Ti voglio ardente d'amor!' is stunningly taken, and the 'Nessun dorma'.. goosebumps.

Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms 2023
Weird pacing and CGI but overall very enjoyable. Greatest aspect was the sound design by far. Never doing a triple feature again though.
