The epitome of early 00’s indie slashers, but with a unique setting/villains. Later films like Descent owe a lot to Wrong Turn, in both visual style and makeup/effects.
However the budget and writing are this movies worst enemy. Still worth a watch, especially for anyone interested in delving a little deeper than the most popular horror franchises.
Surprisingly consistent trilogy. Doesn't mean it is anything more than a fun one time watch. Nothing deeper but I think thats fine.
Loses half a star for no new Eminem song, but it gets half a star for CZARFACE & Method Man.
The comedy is dated, but that is to be expected. Fun film with a fun premise and Burt Reynolds back from the original is a nice touch. Great cast and a lot of fun.
