  ohhh my god i need to give my second review on this bc anora has fully sinked innnnnn 

  the movie didnt do anything groundbreaking for the sex workers community and did not expound on anora’s character aside from the fact that she got tricked by vanya. i wished i coudl see more of her background and the reason for her wanting to stay with vanya despite being tricked 😢😢 there could be so much more of anora if sean baker made her character more complex
