  there’s no positive thing here. the songs are unnecessary, the costumes look both cheap and way too modern for the time it’s supposed to happen, the makeup looks quite literally out of my instagram feed and the plot was probably brainstormed by chatgpt. the romance between both leads was unbelievable from both parts and despite what other reviewers say, rachel was okay, not great, just okay. 

  this is NOT a good movie. you can’t argue against it.

  i’m struggling saying words for conclave. it’s hard to, because of the amount of thoughts that are swimming though my brain.

  religion is a good thing. institutions are a bad thing. men are guilty of their sins. it’s their sins that make them men. 
  
  how can one save an institution without letting it consume you, with the sin of certainty? i still don’t know. i aspire to be a human that does goodness, and i hope everybody else does.

  the name of the movie is called “barbie” yet it fails on making the audience fall in love with her. it centers way too much around ken and the monologue is really not that impressive.

  i just don’t get the appeal. i don’t root for any of the characters or couples, i just don’t care. also why is everyone obsessed with her reading that while crying? where’s the appeal i’m seriously asking
