I used to rewatch this movie after every break up in high school and college. Felt the urge to watch again since Severance is back on air. How are we to know love without grief?
If anything, i just kind of wish the relationship was better and something i actually want to root for lol the filmmaking and score are still top tier to me though

i cried 😭 at the part when ellen said “i am unclean you should never touch me” and thomas said “never”
the lighting was so good wtf and the framing of the shots and the slooooow movements of the camera made for good drama in the first half
everyone’s acting was rly on point n hamming it up a little. rip ellen u would’ve been a priestess
i didn’t really read it as horny as others said but i feel like i’m thinking too much of metaphor rather than the literal interpretations of the plot lol
