Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind 1984
Enjoyed this so much especially the final third of the film! Moved me so much more deeply than I expected, I’m disappointed with myself for watching this kind of fragmented and split up so I definitely want to revisit and watch this in one sitting. I love that Nausicaä’s compassion for all living creatures and the earth ultimately brings the humans and nature in harmony with one another again. This is some of Miyazaki’s most well communicated work in terms of messaging I feel!
