Priscilla 2023
Loveddd the cinematography and the power of the visuals in this film but I felt there was an emotional core missing. I would have liked to know more about Priscilla as a person and how this influenced her choices but I came away knowing virtually nothing about her. She felt like a stand in for any woman in that life but not necessarily a character herself. The dialogue was quite flat in parts and the most well developed character was Elvis himself which shows the pull of Jacob Elordi and his dialogue in every scene. Sort of defeats the point of the film though.
