  Hero’s journey. Questioning of traditional (and cosmetic) ideals of masculinity. The boys made it to Shell City and were happy to fucking die there. Workers revolt against the capitalist class. David Hasselhoff coasts across the pacific as a speed boat before shooting Spongebob and Patrick down with the sheer power of his chest. Spongebob ultimately defeats tyranny by shredding guitar. 

  I used to watch this on a portable DVD player when my Dad would bring me into work over the school holidays. 

  A masterpiece.
