  “Infernal Affairs” (wu jian dao) refers to both the charge of the bureaucratic investigative force within the Hong Kong Police Force (office of internal affairs) and the lowest level of the Avīci hell where those who lie, steal, cheat, and kill are reborn to live a continuous cycle of this same suffering.
